IJD Receives Award for Safety and Health System
(June 9, 2008) – Industrias John Deere has received a recognition award from Mexico's Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare.
The award is given to employers who maintain workplace safety and health systems under a continuous improvement process that complies with and promotes occupational safety and health laws in Mexico.
The recognition was received by Jose Luis Carretero, Human Resources Director at Industrias John Deere.
The awards program consists of three phases, each of which is audited by representatives of the secretariat. Each phase must earn a rating of 95% or better to earn the recognition award.
