After a demanding uphill tee shot requiring some length to reach the fairway, the uphill 2nd shot requires accuracy and distance control or it's bogey or worse for even great players. The next hole is an uphill par 4 measuring 490 yards and the #1 handicap hole, so there is pressure to make a good score and not get ahead of yourself thinking about what's around the corner!
