Lethbridge Country Club #13 Lethbridge, Alberta Canada

397 Yards Par 4
On the scorecard, the 13th hole appears to be a birdie opportunity - in reality it could be your worst nightmare! The view from the tee is a portion of the small bowl shaped landing area 220 yards away surrounded by daunting coulees formed from centuries of erosion caused by the adjacent Oldman River. On a calm day, the blind tee shot is a gut check as a less than adequate shot leads to a steep side hill lie and a probable bogey at best - that is if you do in fact find your ball. Most days there is a wind blowing directly into your face (20-80 km/hr) and it is all you can do to muster a balanced swing never mind find the fairway with your tee shot. Tournament scores typically range from 3 to 10 on this memorable hole.
