The hole plays entirely uphill with an elevation change of around 90' from tee to green; most shots get little roll and players must hit most every shot from an uphill and uneven lie (except for the tee shot) a huge bunker protects the front of the green and most first time players have difficulty judging the distance including the uphill carry plus find it hard to hit a solid shot from the uneven lies. It is a solid three shots for almost every player, with few trying to manage the hole from the championship tees.
