FRONTIER EQUIPMENT INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF WALK-BEHIND SNOWTHROWERS

"The single stage snowthrower has a new four-cycle engine, and at five horsepower, performs great in light snow (up to eight inches deep) on sidewalks and driveways," says Michael Horrell, sales manager, Frontier Equipment. "These are designed with a fold-down handlebar for easy storage and feature an auger propelled drive system. These 22-inch wide models are light weight, economical, and ideal for the average homeowner. They come with an electric start kit as standard equipment."

For larger snow removal jobs, Frontier Equipment offers a complete line (seven models) of dual stage snowthrowers that range in horsepower from 6.5- to 13-hp and widths from 24- to 32-inches. These units feature a redesigned operator panel with ergonomic controls and a beefed-up auger housing with embossed side sheets.

"Customers will really appreciate the rugged design of these heavy-duty machines," explains Horrell. "They are designed for years of service and feature a three-year warranty on the engine and chassis."

Other features include a larger cast iron gearbox and round discharge opening for maximum flow and extra blowing capacity. A new offset headlight offers excellent illumination for night-time operation and a new steerable axle (on 10-hp models and larger machines) eliminates the need for wheel locks.

"With all the new features, the rugged design, and the three-year warranty on all models; customers can find a dependable Frontier Snowthrower to meet their needs," says Horrell. "And they can also receive parts, service, and full support from their local John Deere dealer."
