Active Fill Control

Active Fill Control uses a camera with 3D capability to automatically detect the crop transport truck or trailer and fill it evenly and without spillage. As the camera detects a truck, it automatically begins tracking with the spout. Then it controls the rotation and cap position of the spout until the truck is filled. Select from 4 fill strategies to suit your work style or crop removal vehicle, reduce operator fatigue and increase the efficiency of your forage production.

Fill It

Feed more crop through your windrower with the new 46R pickup. Maintain as many leaves as you can with a trash net that extends down to the rake tines. The 10% larger¹ auger allows for a faster, more uniform feeding of the crop – regardless of your windrow size. Plus, when it comes to maintenance, the new 46R has a chainless drive, meaning no oiling or wear.

Partnering with Scherer, Inc., John Deere developed the new XStream™ Kernel Processor for the high horsepower of the new 9000 Series. With 250 mm (10 in.) diameter rolls and 50% speed differential, this processor delivers consistently smashed kernels and thoroughly processed plants. In 2022, the XStream Kernel Processor is now available with 275 mm (11 in.) diameter rolls. You can count on the high Corn Silage Processing Scores, no matter the length of cut.
