We aren’t just designing a new way to fuel your fleet. We’re building an electric infrastructure with dealer support, jobsite data, charging stations, and more. Whether the job calls for E-Power or diesel, we'll have the tools to help your fleet move forward.
We already laid the groundwork when we first introduced hybrid-electric loaders in 2013. Since then, we’ve given contractors a series of reliable alternative-power solutions, and we’re already building more. Thanks to the relationship between John Deere Power Systems and Kreisel, we’re able to deliver purpose-built batteries that give customers alternative power sources when they need them — while still keeping innovations in our diesel machines a top priority.
Jobsites are constantly changing and customers need an electric solution that can keep up. That’s why we’re committed to delivering flexible charging solutions to support overnight needs at the company shop, or jobs that take customers a little further away from home. Our machines will also feature common automotive-style charging connections to allow for shared charging station use, where possible.
We never want to sacrifice performance for the sake of technology. With over 3 million customer field hours on electric drive, we've proven the benefits it can offer. So when we found a way to deliver these exceptional capabilities with a power source that lets customers work in confined spaces and meet their sustainability goals, we made a major commitment. We’re delivering 20+ electric and hybrid-electric models across Deere and the Wirtgen Group by 2026.
With 50% less noise coming from their machines, electric machines bring benefits to communities and the crew operating them. Noise levels are drastically reduced in urban environments near schools and neighborhoods, allowing work to continue during overnight shifts with less disruption to the community. And for operators and crew members, reduced sound levels improve communication between crew members and reduce operator fatigue.
